I was encouraging my son to get a summer job and was bemoaning his lack of enthusiasm for this project to a friend.  She told me to be careful what I wished for.  I asked her to explain.  She said that in today's world, jobs can lead to meeting up with the wrong kids doing the wrong things all too quickly.  She recounted how her son had picked up smoking pot from his "buddies" at work.  Is nothing safe?
